COVID-19 VACCINE

The COVID-19 vaccine is available from your healthcare provider.  You can contact Mid-Valley Clinic at 509-826-1600 to make an appointment for a vaccine.  

VACCINE ELIGIBILITY

Pfizer

First dose: Age 12 and older
Second dose: Age 12 and older and 21 days after first dose
Third dose: Age 12 and older who are moderately to severely immune compromised

Pfizer – Pediatric

First dose: Age 5 to 11 years of age
Second dose: Ages 5 to 11 years of age and 21 days after the first dose
Third dose: Not eligible

Moderna

First dose: Age 18 and older
Second dose: Age 18 and older and 28 days after first dose
Third dose: Age 18 and older who are moderately to severely immune compromised

J&J/Janssen

First dose: Age 18 and older
Second dose: Not approved
Third dose (not booster): Not approved

BOOSTER ELIGIBILITY

“Mix and Match allowed” Booster dose does not need to be from the same vaccine as the primary vaccine series.

Pfizer- 6 months after completing primary Pfizer vaccine series

  • Age 65 and older
  • Age 18-64 who are
    • Living in Long Term Care facility
    • Age 18-64 with underlying medical conditions or increased risk of social inequities
    • Age 18-64 who work or live in high-risk settings

Moderna – 6 months after completing primary vaccine series

  • Age 65 and older
  • Age 18-64 who are
    • Living in Long Term Care Facility
    • Age 18-64 with underlying medical conditions or increased risk of social inequities
    • Age 18-64 who work or live in high-risk settings

J&J/Janssen – 2 months after receiving the single dose

  • All age 18 and older

TESTING

Testing (for non-severe or asymptomatic individuals) is available by appointment only. If you are experiencing severe symptoms, seek care right away. Patients seeking care can be tested as part of their visit to the Emergency Department or at Mid-Valley Clinic.
